I really, really, like my cats. Never felt the need to go psycho clingy though. Treat them how you would want to be treated at a minimum, but treat them how they want to be treated as a courtesy. It is not that hard to learn cat love languages. Ya'll a bit scary, they tolerate it

Don't do any of this to your cats, please! Always be gentle and respectful of them. Pet them in ways THEY enjoy, NOT that only YOU do. You'll get a lot more purrs/affection from them in return. You can see these cats dreaded this, but had to tolerate by their body language 😡
