Hold up!! So the boys who made #TshwalaBamiChallenge blow up were not even dancing to “Tshwala Bam” track? Video on the Left looks to me to be the original and more natural and on beat than the Tshwala Wam dubbed one on the right. Is it the same song? Sounds different to me 😇 What’s the real story? UPDATE: Just been alerted that indeed the songs are different. The original dance was to a song called ‘Yeyee’ by Zan’Tan & JazziQ. Thanks Bedlala This makes this story even more interesting.

Some people are upset that I said “Raising kanan” in the final season Is just as great as the others Is imo better than “the wire” It’s my opinion we don’t have to agree But romanticism plagues people The wire was great but it did have flaws 50 would never mess a scene up On raising kanan With bad song placement that does not even match the setting of the scene.. And also the actors in the car are terrible And they don’t even have lines lol Yes it was amazing and it’s legendary But I will not allow your romanticism with the past make you believe that the show from your childhood was flawless It was not!! It’s okay for new albums to be better than Illmatic It’s okay for new crime series to be better the wire It’s okay for a new teacher to take it to a level Malcolm X never got too It’s okay!

It was just a few months after 'Nevermind' came out and on the day of this performance, the album topped Michael Jackson's 'Dangerous' for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts. Nirvana performed the obvious hit, "Smells Like Teen Spirit," but chose “Territorial Pissings” as their second song—a risky move given that it's arguably the most feral song on 'Nevermind.' NBC was reportedly nervous about the choice, but the band refused to swap it out for something more palatable. It was a chaotic night.

What a joke.” Then five minutes later they’re posting skyline photos covered in LED lights like neon equals virtue. I don’t know. Walk a few streets behind any shiny business district. Past the malls. Past the glass towers. You’ll find older blocks that never make it into promo videos. The same kind of quiet economy exists. Different language on the door, same arrangement inside. Big screens and bright lights don’t automatically mean a society is cleaner. Sometimes it just means the camera angle is better. It’s easy to point at someone else’s mess. Harder to admit your own city has corners people prefer not to film.
