Prime Minister Netanyahu made it very clear that the goal is to liberate Iran, not divide it, and the US and Israel are on the same page. And we'll learn details. But these are -- these are brave people because they are guarding people that are constantly under threat. I am a die hard Trump supporter. At the same time, I don’t want to hear the Trump admin talk about how their immigration policies will address what happened today in DC. Nobody’s immigration policies will do anything if they refuse to address the threat of Islam. Enough is enough. We have an Islam problem in America and it needs to be addressed. The terrorists have been welcomed into the Oval Office and now the same Islamic terrorists are murdering Amercians. We need answers about why the admin is suddenly soft on Islam. I love and support President Trump, and I want to understand why his admin is not using full force against the jihadis in our country and why Islam continues to grow stronger in America even under a current Trump admin. Speaking in the Chamber today on the Official Secrets Act, I raised deep concern over the decision to drop charges against two individuals accused of espionage for China. As someone sanctioned and targeted by the Chinese Government, I was briefed at the outset that this was a “slam-dunk” prosecution — they were clear that they had met every single requirement within the Official Secrets Act about passing secure information to the Chinese intelligence agency that would be “directly or indirectly" useful to the Chinese state. That is very clear. It cannot, therefore, be for a lack of evidence that this has been dropped by the CPS, so why has the case been abandoned? The issue lies in how the Act defines an “enemy”. After the China audit, the Labour Government had the chance to put China in the same upper tier as Russia, North Korea and Iran — but chose not to. Ministers call China a “challenge”, not a threat. That position is indefensible. The Minister speaks of threats, but he does not say that China is a threat; he says it is a “challenge”, which is a ludicrous position to take. This decision has let down Parliament and, indeed, Mr Speaker himself, who stood up for Members targeted by Beijing. Until China is recognised for what it is — a persistent threat to individuals and states — our national security will remain compromised, and our reputation weakened as a strong state against terrorism.

In the past week Clint Russell asked Bret Weinstein how he would grade Trump, now that Bret voted for him for the first time in the 2024 election. Here is Bret's response: "I am confused by what I see... I am completely comfortable with having voted for Trump. It was my first time because of the apocalypse that was represented by the blue ticket. And so I just don't think there was any rational choice. We had an absolute emergency on our hands and this simple ability to vote for something that was in some way authentic made it the only game in town. Now, as for what is transpiring under the Trump administration, I am aware that there is a labyrinth of power and a hidden priority list. The administration presumably has things it wants to accomplish. The labyrinth of power sets the ground rules as to what can be accomplished at what rate and in exchange for what, I know I'm not privy to that. And so the real question is how does the stack up compared to what was possible given the cards that president Trump held on inauguration? And I don't think any of us are in a position to answer that. So, you know, is the disappointment the result of the fact that the constraints on the president are greater than we hoped and maybe imagined? Are they the result of the priorities not being the represented priorities? Undoubtedly that plays some role. But, you know, again, in light of what was, you know, we had President Biden was not the president in the meaningful sense. To have attempted to run him again. And then at the point that that became implausible, to swap in an empty shirt is such a dire commentary on the state of the Republic that I think every conversation about how the Trump administration is doing has to begin with the fact that there was no alternative."
