Now that the world knows how much farther along China's urban areas really are, China-haters are transitioning their disinformation campaign to China's rural areas. While rural areas need more development, 100% of urban areas have running water, and 94% of rural areas have access to running water. Valentina is 82 years old and has lived most of her life in Bakhmut. After the full-scale invasion of the Rashists, the grandmother was left without a home and moved to Dnipro. Here she began to knit rugs and sell them in Shevchenko Park. Thanks to some people, who learned about her history on the Web. So Valentina found buyers not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. ❤️

Seeing thousands of people walking around playing, putting faces to names and meeting people we’ve connected with online through the years, and how easy it is to meet people, make friends. Everyone’s so nice and the community atmosphere is what makes these events amazing! ❤️ #PokemonGO #PokemonGOFest2026

Supporting my country might seem like an easy task, and it feels like it should be simple when living in another country... But in reality, not everyone can withstand it: how many of those who still continue to stand with Ukraine and Ukrainians are actually left? After all, years of war have passed here. To stand with Ukraine is to absorb everything like a sponge and let it all pass through you, to see the aftermath of shellings in Ukrainian cities, the tears of mothers and children-even if just through a phone screen-to feel and endure that deep emotional pain, to feel salty tears on your cheeks no matter how strong you are mentally and psychologically. All of this leaves its mark day after day, until the next new video from Ukraine. And not everyone can or will want to see that side of humanity. In the video are those very people, the residents of Ukraine. The people of my country. Supporting Ukraine means supporting precisely these people you see. Every single one of them has lost someone close to them, while the war is still raging in our country, and no one knows what the future holds for each of us... Please continue to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. This is our home, and this is our land!

1. The other day I posted someone’s walking tour video of Tehran, and people loved it, so I’m going to post a bunch from around Iran in this thread. I miss Iran so much that I put these videos on my TV and let them roll for hours. This is Fereshteh Street, in one of the wealthier parts of Tehran. If the Trump DOJ’s only goal is to make people like Norm Eisen’s lawfare proxy, Letitia James, miserable and not actually put criminals in prison, then I will have zero sympathy for what is coming for Trump and everyone around him the second Democrats take back power. Norm Eisen and friends failed after four years of trying to put Trump and everyone around him in prison, bankrupt them, and disbar them. They won’t fail the next time. Why Trump gives people like Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan the time of day is beyond me.

Joe Rogan once checked the garlic salt in his own kitchen and found sugar listed as the third or fourth ingredient. After watching a Flavor God video that showed sugar in a regular green-cap garlic salt, he went home, picked up his own jar, and saw the exact same thing. He’d been pouring it on his eggs for years without a clue. Regardless of how many times I hear stories like this, I somehow still find myself surprised. We treat the simplest pantry items like they’re pure, just salt and garlic. Nothing else. Yet some of the biggest brands still slip sugar in as a cheap filler, and most people never look because why would you? It shows how little trust the food system actually earns. If sugar can hide in something this basic, the rest of the labels are probably doing the same thing in quieter ways. The people who need to avoid it the most are usually the last ones who expect to find it there. I stopped trusting any spice jar years ago. Now I read every label like it’s trying to get away with something. Because a lot of the time, it is. Note: The claim holds up. After living through COVID, Russiagate, the Ukraine war, the Syrian war, and 20 years of Afghanistan, I am now doubting climate change. Especially since I found out how easily medical journals and doctors can be corrupted by Big Pharma. Reintegrating elephants and rhinos looks a little different. But the end result – a life in the wild – is always the same. Central to the successful rewilding of both species is gradual acceptance by the locals. Our elephant orphans hone their survival skills over years through face-to-face interactions with wild elephants, and we tend to find herds are accepting of their presence. Rhinos are different. Deeply territorial, they don't welcome newcomers. Our rhino orphans learn through scent, dung piles and the slow process of being recognised by the wild rhinos around them. Every day, dawn to dusk, their Keepers walk them along the trails and dung piles left by their wild neighbours. The calf contributes its own, and gradually – over years – it becomes an accepted part of the local community. Apollo here is mid-way through that process. Read more:

There are literally slaves in Libya and there are still a bunch of black people in the US complaining about racism, the past, and white people without looking in the mirror and taking accountability for what we do.. Imagine living in the country with the most opportunity to ever exist on this planet and you’re complaining more about white people and history than going out there making good decisions and gettin after it..
