Most Popular Video Game Characters (2012-2026)

The nostalgia hits hard with Mario, Sonic, Kratos and Link. It’s crazy how recognizable these characters have become even outside gaming.

Mario, Sonic, Pikachu and Link are still on another level when it comes to popularity. These characters have stayed relevant for years.

Honestly, Kratos, Master Chief, Lara Croft and Minecraft Steve have completely different fanbases, but all four are gaming icons.

Mario's held the crown 40 years and Luigi still gets no respect 😂 Who's your pick?

Pikachu & Mario 👌👌👌
