Most things many say about year-round Daylight Saving Time are wrong. 1. Far from universal support, just 38% want it vs. 32% for the current system & 26% for year-round Standard Time. 2. Year-round DST means fewer days with pre-7:30 sunrises & post-5:30 sunsets for most.

Is it possible to have the timezones run southwest to northeast instead? Just looking at sunrise times, there are natural timezones to be had that optimizes sunlight across the country. Tile the time zones once and never change the clocks again.

At $0.27/W, the #lowest priced solar panel in Amazon US is FutureSolar as per comparemarketplaces . com #amazon #solar #panel #ad

My favorite idea is to split the difference halfway between Standard and DST.

We are the silent majority (i.e., haters of year-round standard time)

So 64% want to change the current system?

Just leave that shit alone. People don't need more darkness's there is already too much of that in America

The problem, Harry, is wide time zones. Grand Rapids, MI should not be in the same timezone as Bangor, ME. If we split New England off to Atlantic Time and start Eastern Time in New York, that would be great.

Why does it have to be DST or ST…move it 30 min, split the difference and call it a day!

In other words, nearly three quarters of the people don't want to get rid of daylight saving time.

Kids already go to school in the dark under standard time
