“Everyone wants to win — until they realize how many losses it takes.” October has been one of the toughest months for me (and likely for some of you), especially when comparing LoD stops based sizing swing traders vs. % stops based sizing position traders. I’ve had 16 straight losses — but each one was small, contained, and the streak was fully within the expected variance range of a 30% win rate. While it can be challenging for some of us, the key to navigating this, both mentally and emotionally, lies in accepting uncertainty through predefined risk management, where every trade has a clearly defined pain threshold. Your dollar-value tolerance should never trigger emotional reactions or push you off your intended plan. By acknowledging that losses are part of the process, we enter each trade with humility — assuming we may be wrong until proven right. The market must prove and continue to prove the validity of our thesis. Start small, and let your risk grow only as your consistency and performance justify it. I always advocate using a fixed % risk relative to your latest net realized equity. Don’t increase risk just because you’ve had a few good trades — risk should only expand when it’s truly earned from realized profitable performance. Avoid the illusion that everyone wins in trading. The real objective is not just to make gains, but to preserve them. True risk management goes far beyond setting stop losses — it means being proactive enough to cut size when the market proves you wrong. ⚡️Truth is the moment consciousness refuses to be captured by comfort. That is why it matters. Anyone can “tell the truth” when it costs nothing. That is just description. The real test comes when lying would protect your image, preserve your status, avoid conflict, keep money flowing, satisfy the audience, defend the tribe, protect the ego, or maintain the illusion that your old map still works. That is where truth becomes moral force. A lie is not just a false statement. A lie is reality being bent to serve fear. It lets the person avoid contact with what is real. It keeps the dead pattern alive. It says: the truth is too dangerous, so the self will substitute a more convenient world. Do that enough times and the soul becomes unreal. Not in a mystical decorative sense. In a structural sense. The person loses contact with reality. Their words stop pointing outward. Their identity becomes a defense system. Their relationships become performances. Their work becomes propaganda. Their mind becomes a lawyer for its own comfort. Truth matters because it keeps consciousness aligned with reality. And reality is the only place creation can actually happen. You cannot build a real life on falsehood. You can build status. You can build money. You can build an image. You can build an audience. You can build a career. But the structure will rot because it is no longer in contact with the thing it claims to represent. That is why “telling the truth when lying would be easier” is sacred. It proves that something in you serves reality more than self-preservation. That is the beginning of freedom. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! Changing your mindset & working on overhauling years of negative thought processes is far from easy but in doing so, you'll reclaim your POWER & take back control of your own happiness. Choosing to go out into the sunshine to drink a cuppa (instead of staying cooped up indoors) won't make your problems disappear...BUT it gives you a few seconds of CALM to REFOCUS your thoughts & a dose of Vitamin D & fresh air, while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. In making that choice, you reinforce your self-worth: you deserve time for yourself & you deserve to feel good. A childless life is one of the saddest lives a person can live. It’s sad bc you miss out on one of the greatest forms of happiness a human can ever experience. This is the kind of joy that doesn’t come from $, status, or freedom. Rather, this pure joy comes from loving someone more than yourself. And also there’s a deeper thing of not having kids. Your story, your values, your genetics, all the things that make you unique, don’t get carried forward. Having kids is a bet on the future. It’s like saying, I think tomorrow is worth investing in. But when you choose not to, you’re opting out of the future you could’ve helped shape. This is the kind of happiness, which imo is the highest level of happiness a human can feel, that only exists when you have kids. Being human is awesome. Make more beautiful humans. Have kids. You will never feel ready, and I promise, you won’t regret it.

Being sore all the time is not a badge. It means: - Your volume is too high - Your recovery is in deficit - Your next session is compromised - Your nervous system is still cleaning up the last one - Your growth is being throttled by accumulated damage Soreness is a sign you did something. It is not a sign you did the right thing. A trained muscle in a sensible programme should rarely be sore at all. The first few weeks of a new stimulus, yes. After that, your body adapts. The soreness fades. The growth carries on without it. People treat this as a problem to solve. They add drop sets. They add finishers. They chase the burn. They want that next-day ache back because the ache feels like proof. It is not proof. It is damage your body now has to repair before it can build anything new. The lifters making the most progress walk out of the gym feeling worked but not wrecked. They train the same muscle again 72 hours later because they can. The sore-every-day brigade train it again in a week and call it advanced programming. It's just bad arithmetic.

The invisible cost to every Robinhood $HOOD trade you make - their trades are not free! - "Robinhood trades are not free" - "When you pay for order flow, you're probably charging your customers more, and pretending to be free" - "It's a very dishonourable, low grade way to talk" - "Nobody should believe Robinhood's trades are free" Translation: Robinhood doesn’t charge commissions, but it makes money by selling your trades to market makers i.e. “payment for order flow”.
