About 100 years ago Dr. Frederick Banting, who invented the insulin, said "Insulin does not belong to me, it belongs to the world," yet these American Pharm keep fccccking with people. To put it in perspective, one vial of insulin is about $300 without insurance. On average a type 1 diabetic will go through about 2-3 vials a month, so 36 vials a year. 36 x 300= $10,800. Not to mention syringes, pump sites, pump supplies, testing meter and equipment, etc Our lives shouldn't have such a high price tag. We didn't choose to have this ilness and this medication isn't optional. So either $10k+ a year or we get very sick or die.
