@StormriteGame I'm going to have to check this stuff out!

@StormriteGame It's great stuff!

@StormriteGame This looks absolutely incredible. How many animations is it pulling from? How long did it take to setup?

@StormriteGame Huh, non humanoid? This is literally what I look like getting a snack in the middle of the night.

@StormriteGame Looks amazing Kelechi!! are you using root motion? or is capsule based? it feels very grounded :)

@StormriteGame Cheers David! The animations aren't in-place, but the system doesn't use root motion either. It uses the default character movement component, and uses trajectory predictions to understand how the character is moving, and picks an appropriate animation to match the motion

@StormriteGame You have any recommendations for resources on motion matching? I've skimmed before, but haven't checked in a hot minute. What you've got here is GREAT!

@StormriteGame Thanks! Unfortunately, there isn't much by way of documentation for the UE5 motion matching tech, just this doc: But researching the fundamentals of motion matching is a great place to start! I haven't got any specific sources for that though

@StormriteGame So, is stormrite abandoned? That’s very disappointing if so. This game already looks very good, sucks to see so much work and dedication all thrown away.

@StormriteGame Still somehow very robotic dont you think?
