Removing Phillip Island was just the beginning; throughout the year they will remove more traditional tracks and create new regulations requiring electric engines, thus gradually killing MotoGP as they are doing with Formula 1.

If 20% of the people who complained it’s been lost to SA actually attended maybe it would still be in Vic

Yeah this is sad 😭 Not sure what happened during contract negotiations, but the way the official MotoGP was worded kind of sounded like it was PI that didn’t re-sign their contract. But who knows, and to add a street course, BAD IDEA. Getting a street course to safety standard

Yeah I know that ticket sales weren’t always so great…. But it’s a shame PI was always exciting, high speed, high shifting winds. Riders are already not happy about a street course..

Yeah but f1 has cars that protect the drivers. MotoGP riders have only an airbag. How will they have room to crash if there are buildings and trees in place of gravel

Absolutely….it will be a challenge to say the least…I’m honestly kind of shocked they went this direction.
