China's "Sky Ladder" (Tianti) is a 168-meter (551-foot) suspended via ferrata ladder located on Mount Qixing in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province. Suspended 5,000 feet above the valley floor, it challenges thrill-seekers to climb near-vertical rock faces with an awe-inspiring and terrifying drop directly below. While climbers are suspended over a massive abyss, they are constantly clipped into a heavy-duty steel safety cable system.
