Movie Title: The Architect (2007)🎬💫
43 Comments

This isn’t *The Architect* (2007). It’s a clip from A24’s *Backrooms* (2026) — Mary fleeing Captain Clark through those impossible, looping hallways of miniature houses and sofa rooms. The architecture itself feels like the monster. Nightmarish in the best liminal-space way.

Damn, you got me 😂 I was way off on the title. That looping hallway chase is exactly why this clip stuck with me though the rooms themselves feel like they’re hunting her. Thanks for the correction.

This isn’t a fucking architect

You can correct it

Yes I can correct it you stupid AI

that looping hallway chase is nightmare fuel

This clip is so creepy. That endless hallway with the houses inside feels like a nightmare you can’t wake up from.

That hallway is the exact energy of those dreams where you’re trying to get home but every door just opens into more hallway and your house is somehow *inside* the building. Instant anxiety.

Underrated movie. It raises some interesting questions about power, responsibility, and how far people will go when they feel ignored.

Yeah, that’s exactly it. Leo keeps insisting the design is “fundamentally sound” while everything around him is falling apart. The film’s best when it shows what happens when no one feels heard.

That endless hallway is the real nightmare. Every door looks like an escape until it leads to something even worse.

This is how it feels when you think you’ve finally solved one problem and immediately run into three worse ones.

No it isn't called that. It is called Backrooms and it came out this year 2026.

The architecture itself feels like the monster. Nightmarish in the best liminal-space way.

So this is actually the backrooms which came out may if this year, really great movie, not exactly horror but it is very disturbing, a few scary buts here and there

BACKROOMS

When will see stop running

Movie Title: The Backrooms (2026)

This clip is peak liminal nightmare fuel. Mary sprinting through an infinite indoor suburb while a pirate on stilts closes in is the kind of architecture that should come with a warning label.

Mary is running like she already knows every door leads to another hallway

Exactly. The building doesn’t need a villain it is the villain. Those hallways feel like they’re waiting

Wait is that a vampire bite, or what's that creature..?

Movie name (backrooms) 2026

@AdanuKrizz Backrooms lol

Got hurt on a fckin couch💔✌️

This movie is so creepy

The movie title is wrong. This is backroom!

The kind of movie that makes you appreciate how much storytelling can be hidden behind a simple title. The Architect definitely has that intriguing vibe.

That’s the vibe. Simple name, but it keeps peeling back layers until you’re sitting with both the personal mess and the bigger social one.”

The Architect (2007) definitely looks like one of those movies that deserves more attention.

I actually thought the Mary girl stood a chance... Omo

I think he caught up with her

The endless suburban hallways and Captain Clark in the pirate hat are peak liminal-space horror.

This movie is so scary. Please don’t watch it alone

Backrooms!

🔥 An underrated classic movie with a unique story!

Watching Mary sprint through those endless sofa-lined dollhouse corridors while the pirate closes in is truly peak architectural horror.

This is peak IKEA after 6pm endless sofas, no exits, and something in a hat is definitely following you.

Interesting movie, definitely adding to my watchlist.

This is Backrooms, not The Architect. Captain Clark on stilts in an infinite indoor suburb is peak nightmare architecture. Poor Mary never stood a chance.

Lmao you’re right, I saw ‘architect’ and yellow halls and my brain auto-filled the wrong movie. That stilts-in-an-indoor-suburb shot is actually unhinged though.
