In a petition filed at the Milimani High Court by Sheria Mtaani , lawyers argue that the motorists have the moral, civil and legal obligations to refuse to pay the fines. Justice Bahati Mwamuye on Thursday, March 12, 2026, granted conservatory orders suspending the rollout of the system.
