The courts want child support from men, and sometimes it feels like they’ll do anything to secure it. Instead of giving the child to whoever can best care for them, it can seem like the system rewards the arrangement that generates child support. At the same time, women constantly criticize ‘deadbeat dads,’ yet some fathers are still deprived of seeing their kids. If that’s the case, why is it so hard for people to just agree to a 50–50 arrangement?

Finally she wrote to the Chief Justice of India who fast tracked her trial Then came the suspicious accident- her two aunts and lawyer were killed in a road accident. Now that the court has suspended Sengar’s life sentence and the rape survivor is convinced she may be killed. But she is just as determined to fight on even after nine long years.
