How on earth do people like you become MP's ? You're so patronising. I shall be contacting my MP to see how we can have you removed before the next election

I just emptied the ashtray into the food bin. Will the food still be OK to eat?

Hi Chris I imagine this will be fine as my local deli does charcoal sourdough and that’s probably similar

This kind of resourcefulness, necessity-is-the-mother-of-invention thinking, is what makes Britain great - hungry and poor, but also great. Thanks Rosie! Happy Christmas

This is what puts the great back in Britain. The amount of bins out there that could feed families on Christmas day needs to be highlighted . Thank you Rosie . We are all in this together .

Thanks again Rosie. I took your dirty plate idea, it was great. I did have food poisoning for 24 hours after but i still saved money due to not eating food and being in bed i didn't have to put the heating on. Win, win!

Absolutely terrifying that some of these thick cunts 👇🏼 are allowed to vote.

Im not aware of which constituency this Rosie Holt is MP for but she impresses me with her willingness to help those less well off. If there was a local Bi-election she would get my vote and possibly even get my vote in a full gay-election.

Further tip. Add water to the bin and make a nourishing broth. Then keep adding more water as the broth gets depleted. Should see you through till Easter.

I am sorry, but who prepares dinner without a picture of the late Queen Elizabeth ll on the wall, and a union jack in the kitchen? You are obviously a lefty, who would vote for free school meals and clean waterways. I have written to the Whips to say that you should be deselected

You've gone too far this time. It's really hard to believe that a Tory MP would actually do this. I mean, you released a video at this time of year without saying "Happy Christmas". What were you thinking?

@bmay May I suggest an old family favourite - kitchen floor soup. Why waste all those nutritional bits of food that scuttle into corners? And don't forget to sweep under the cooker. Yesterday, for example, in addition to the usual crumbs and dust, I found a chip and two peas.

Rosie, when we buy meat from Fortnum & Mason there's an absorbent pad in the packet to absorb meat juices. We rinse this out & donate it to our local foodbank for women to use as a sanitary product. Important to emphasise the recycling aspect of charity as well.

More tips for festive food & party games. Take your children for a lovely day out, warmly dressed if possible, to get a bit of fresh air. Walk them to Maccy D’s and teach them how to bin dive. Whoever emerges with the most fries is the winner. Bonus points for random ketchup.

Thanks so much Rosie - my family are following your tips on saving money and a brilliant side effect is that we have all lost a lot of weight and can 'borrow' each others clothes. We are working on 'shoe sharing' now, which my old Dad can remember doing as a child in the 1930's!

To keep water meter charges down; capture the condensation and damp running down the walls of a poorly maintained rented property by patching with kitchen towel then ringing out each one into a glass. Mmmmm.

True blue Tory... I was going to vote LibDem, but now I'm going to stick with the Tories. No other party takes the time to make videos that offer genuine advice to help with the cost of living crisis. Don't knock it you woke lefty until you've tried a used tea-bag on toast! yum

"Just get yourself a job paying £84,000 a year, plus an expense account of about £220,000 a year, subsidised bars & dining, free first class travel and a 2nd house paid for by somebody else. Oh, yes, and eat gruel."
