Jess Phillips called Fiona, a grooming gang survivor, a liar - but Fiona has documentary proof she is telling the truth. It is shameful for a Minister charged with protecting victims to have done this. Victims and survivors have unsurprisingly lost confidence in Jess Phillips and four have now resigned from the advisory panel. The two possible inquiry chairs have also now withdrawn. The inquiry has descended into complete chaos under Jess Phillips. The government seem more interested in continuing the cover up of the rape gang scandal. They never wanted this inquiry in the first place, and Keir Starmer even smeared those calling for one as jumping on a ‘far right bandwagon’. He should now apologise for saying that.
