Why the lack of media coverage for the plight of these people? Four former industrial home survivors have been on hunger strike outside the Dáil in all weather for over 45 days now. They had a positive meeting yesterday and are hopeful of a resolution but they'll remain on hunger strike until their demands are met. So, boots-on-the-ground reporting, including live, unedited footage showing the public what’s happening in real time, isn’t “true” and “objective” journalism? And of course I interviewed experts about this story. I just didn’t find you to be at the top of the list, considering you believe birds the birds were too tall to test effectively, that “the scientific issues, actually, are the lowest priority,” here and that the biggest threat is a “lack of belief in government.” Oh, and let’s not forget your claim that “Rebel News and this entire far-right media ecosystem” are covering this story to “weaken government sovereignty.” Totally objective statements. How much funding do you get from the Supreme Governments you’re so eagerly to defending for your global vaccine research? Anything close to what the state-backed media that interviews you so often receives? Rebel News is funded by the people and last I checked, in a democracy, state sovereignty, is supposed to align with the sovereignty of the people the state serves. If there’s a great lack of trust in our government ( and there is ) that’s on independent journalists who shed light on that, it’s on the state, and the mouth pieces that deflect from government overreach by vilifying and dehumanizing the very people they’re failing to serve. To what extent do pharmaceutical companies influence the direction of science, media, and just our entire information ecosystem? @jeffreyatucker has been reflecting deeply on this question: “I had no idea just how powerful they were over academia, over the agencies...I didn't know that NIH shared patents with big pharma. I didn't realize how dependent mainstream media is on pharmaceutical advertising. I hadn't realized how many NGOs receive pharmaceutical money, how many conflicted scientists there were out there that are not really objective. The whole system is so messed up. How many governments in the world [are there] that big pharma actually seems to control? I mean, in the end, there are a lot of theories about why 194 countries at the same time tried a big experiment in lockdowns, right? Why did this happen to us? But at least part of it came down to the power of pharmaceutical companies and their conviction that they can solve the problem for us if we just stay locked down long enough and give them time to create the great inoculation that was going to save us. And 194 governments in the world believe this. That is some awesome power. I would like to see some kind of reforms. I think there are some of these steps in this direction taken to make the pharmaceutical industry a normal industry, where they…have liability for the damages that have been caused, not earning these liability waivers that have given them all the wrong incentives.
