The grandeur of our nation is now reduced to MPs cowering behind private mercenaries! £31 million, a princely sum to safeguard the scared elite whilst the common man battles daily perils unguarded. What a splendid decay of the British backbone.

So councils are struggling, some claiming bankruptcy but MPs can find £31m for their own security based on 1/2 events! Sounds more like media hype more than anything, where is the proof of all these so called threats!
