What a legend. Unfortunately, you can truly learn the lesson he talks about only after so many depressing experiences. You learn that if you don't pull it together, you will eventually fall apart.

Trying to change things often comes with so much resistance, vitriol, and sabotaging coming your way that it's not for the faint-hearted.

Turns out you can just do things, and people will mostly let you do it.

Weird how hard this lesson is to learn… you have to fail so many times… do so many dumb things … get a little lucky… + work stupidly hard… and then you can feel a little bit of what he is saying if your lucky!
