Dad-of-four Imran Khan says his children are terrified to leave the house due to the gangs of violent youths gathering outside. The full incident was clearly captured on video and shows the following: Offences Against the Person Act 1861 Premeditated targeted assault and battery (section 39, 47) Maliciously administering a noxious substance (section 24) Criminal Damage (Criminal Damage Act 1971 section 1) Rather than refer this crime to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), a ‘police decision maker’ from Merseyside Police dealt with this by way of an ‘out of court disposal’ authorising a Conditional Caution to the perpetrator. Cases that are dealt with via an ‘out of court disposal’ do not allow victims the opportunity to appeal the decision using the police ‘Victim’s Right to Review’ (VRR). Considering the serious nature of the crime it should have been referred to the CPS and dealt with by a court. Almost 3am and I can’t sleep All I can remember is that rainy afternoon I was in Primary 3 and the rain was so heavy, I had to wait at the computer room, and they were watching football, and I saw one guy dribbling the entire field and I liked his aura. I saw his name on his jersey like an Angel sent to me. “Ronaldo.” That was it. No due diligence. No heartbreak adviser. I just decided to be a part of greatness, and from Primary 3, I became a Manchester United fan, against the keen advice of my annoying Chelsea fan brother, my uncle, an annoying Chelsea fan too, and even my dad whose heart skyrockets between Liverpool and Arsenal. I went and bought the jersey and socks, and even shin guard 😭. If I had invested that money, I would have bought a refinery by now. But Manchester United chose me, it’s 2am and my blood pressure is wishing they can “unchoose” me 😭 10 men away team, and not a single goal. I’m on my bed and I can’t feel my lungs 😭. However, today, the repercussions are being felt by all. It's worth conveying to APC Nigeria that seeking foreign support may not be necessary, as Nigerian Army is fully capable of addressing the situation. Is it prudent to seek assistance from U.S. Mission Nigeria, especially considering the past betrayal of their support under Goodluck E. Jonathan's administration by the Fulani military leaders? Nigeria, as a prominent African nation, possesses the capability to address its challenges without external intervention.
