Mr. Ravindran Shankaran, an IPS officer from Tamil Nadu who is serving in Bihar as the Director General and CEO of BSSA, stated that Bihar is the safest place in India. At the Rajgir Sports Complex, during Khelo India, 10,000 athletes were hosted. Prime Minister Modi himself praised this. For the people of Bihar, this is truly a matter of pride. This video is from Nalanda University Ruins a highly protected heritage site. Yet shockingly, a man is seen harassing young schoolgirls who were there on an official school tour reportedly sponsored by the Chief Minister. If our daughters are not safe inside Nalanda’s historic ruins, then where in Bihar are they safe? We strongly urge Bihar Police and Nalanda policeto immediately identify and arrest the accused and register strict charges under the POCSO Act. Crimes against minors must be dealt with zero tolerance. This is not just misconduct this is a direct threat to the safety and dignity of children. Swift action is not optional. It is necessary. We have our own problems in India - that’s a separate issue we continue to fight for. But when representing the country at a crucial time, especially after the attack in Pahalgam and subsequent developments, we must support the government. We oppose their ideology and do not support them politically, but here, we are representing the nation.” (Full video available on PTI Videos -

Bihar Sharif Municipal Corporation is doing commendable work through its encroachment removal drive, and it truly deserves appreciation. However, this effort must continue in the future as well. Equal attention should be given to ensuring that encroachments do not return in areas that have already been cleared. Today, I had the incredible opportunity to join bipartisan leaders as we announced the “Renewed Hope Act of 2024” This bill will help build a stronger rescue team of analysts, investigators and law enforcement. Will you stand with us and raise your voice to urge your congressional representatives to support and co-sponsor this bill to protect children who are being sexually abused and exploited? #WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana: On US-Iran ceasefire, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi says, "A very delicate ceasefire has happened... India is a very big voice in South Asia, and wherever it comes to talking about peace, we have always played a big role, but I am repeating again that the timing of the Prime Minister's visit to Israel was very wrong... We have always remained impartial and we had the capacity that if two sides are fighting, we could sit them down and get them to talk. I think PM Modi should review this matter and consider what the reason was that a neighbouring country, which has always troubled us, whether in the form of terrorism or otherwise, played this role. Iran has always been much closer to us... We hope that the government will review this and find out why this happened..."

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal: On cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's scheduled visit to Kolkata on 23rd April, Congress spokesperson Mita Chakraborty says, "We have not been granted permission. Despite having applied for it well in advance, we applied for permission for the stadium in Serampore, we were not granted permission there because we were given a reason that apparently, on the same day, there is another program of Abhishek Banerjee happening. According to the ECI gap, there should be a minimum gap of 250 metres - if I am not mistaken, the gap was more than that. Still, we were not granted permission...The way the administration is working against us, the way in which we are being targetted, it is going to be exposed right in front of everyone. It is for people to see and judge..."

It was last year in April while we were working for the relief & rehabilitation at #Khargone & #Sendhwa that I received this unexpected call. It was Asaduddin Owaisi sb who called to enquire about the situation there. Over almost a months time, we talked on many occasions. I briefed him about the relief works we were doing there & he shared the works by AIMIM team. His team worked with many survivors of violence & communal demolition at Khargone & Sendhwa. In the #Haldwani demolition that was later stayed by the court, we also talked about the legal approach and other mitigations. In past 10 days, while working with the #Nuh relief works, he has called me many a times and not just a call, his team is working with some relief works. Every time I talk to him, I feel the same pain in his voice as if he is there with the survivors and seen things through his eyes. It is beyond any doubt that he is one of the finest & bravest political leader of our times. One may criticise him or disagree with him but it is impossible to be like Asaduddin Owaisi sb.

I’m genuinely proud of how real our Impact Program at ElevenLabs has become. It started with one clear goal - helping bring voices back for people who have lost them. Today, we’ve been able to work with over 5,000 people. It began organically, with people reaching out to us for help. We then formalized it into Impact Program where, together with other organizations, we provide free technology and services to help people get their voice back. I couldn’t have imagined how many incredible partners would want to work alongside us to support them. Now we have 100+ partners for this cause - nonprofits, clinics, and groups on the ground - working with us to support people through the whole journey. As part of this, we wanted to tell the stories of individuals who, despite what they’re going through, continue to inspire. Over the past few months, our team has traveled the world to record 11 stories and create a short documentary, Eleven Voices - soon premiering at SXSW. You can watch the trailer narrated (with permission) by an AI voice of Sir Michael Caine below!

Only last month, Pope Leo XIV met with 72 bishops from Nigeria over two different dates Archbishop Matthew Gagoso, President of the Nigerian Bishops Conference, said that the bishops all gave Pope Leo detailed feedback on the direct situation for Christians Cardinal Onaiyekan told Aleteia: 'Everything we told him, he already knew. We mainly thanked him; we expect him to continue what he is already doing: speaking out for us, defending us, and thus serving as a spokesperson for Nigeria' EWTN reported: 'The visit allowed them to bring the suffering of their people directly to the Holy Father. In response, Pope Leo assured the delegation that he would continue to raise international awareness and advocate for peace and protection for all Nigerians' Pope Leo XIV has mentioned Nigeria at many of his Angelus public prayers

On our second day in India, our delegation travelled by road to visit the Taj Mahal, a journey that was truly worth every moment. As the Taj Mahal came into view, you could hear the collective “wow” from our delegation, a moment that captured just how breathtaking the experience truly was. Standing before one of the Seven Wonders of the World, we were all struck by its beauty, history, and the remarkable craftsmanship that has endured through generations. We also had the opportunity to visit the nearby village, home to descendants of the original builders, who continue to care for and preserve the site today. It was a powerful reminder of how heritage is passed down, protected with pride, and kept alive through responsibility and stewardship. My sincere thanks to our tour guides for thoughtfully bringing this history to life and enriching the experience for us all.

On what would have been Liv’s 16th birthday, July 28, we delivered our first Hope and Joy boxes to Geisinger and CHOP in her memory. Geisinger Children's Hospital These boxes carry the same love and light she poured into other children even while she was fighting her own battle. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of so many of you who helped fill them. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 💞 This is only the beginning of keeping the promises we made to her — bringing hope and joy to cancer families walking the same hard road. If you’d like to help us continue Liv’s mission, please visit

Yesterday marked another significant stride in our campaign as my deputy governorship candidate Yusuf Asamah Kadiri SAN, FCIArb and I, along with our dedicated team, traversed the diverse landscapes of Ovia South West, Ovia North East, and Egor LGAs. Our journey took us through the agrarian heartlands of Ikoha and Adebayo Camp, where we engaged with the backbone of our state's agricultural sector. In Oluku, we connected with the vibrant community, listening to their aspirations and concerns. The youthful energy of Ekosodin, a hub for our student population, reinvigorated our commitment to educational advancement and youth empowerment. Our visit to 19th Street allowed us to engage with urban residents, understanding their unique challenges and visions for Edo's future. These interactions reaffirm our belief that true governance must reach every corner of our state, from bustling urban centres to tranquil rural communities. As we continue this journey, we remain steadfast in our pledge: to create an Edo State where every Edolite's voice matters. #EdoPeopleBeforePolitics #EdoWillBeOK #EdoPeopleMustToMatter

‼️ZELENSKYY: U.S. arms supplies to Ukraine under the PURL program have not stopped, despite shortages of air defense missiles caused by the war in Iran. Earlier, the U.S. informed several European countries—including Baltic nations—of potential delays in weapons and ammunition deliveries, as military resources are being redirected to the Middle East conflict, - this was unrelated to the PURL program. “As for US arms supplies (the one Europe is buying for Ukraine through the PURL program) they haven't stopped. I'm grateful to our partners for this. We're in contact with the negotiators. We expect to continue negotiations with the United States both bilaterally and in a trilateral format. Regarding PURL, there's still a shortage. Air defense isn't enough. We recently signed a great package with Germany, but the conditions there strengthen us strategically, while tactically we need to cover the deficit elsewhere, find other sources. That's why the United States today, through the PURL program, is providing a real help. We thank all countries helping to finance this program” - Ukrainian President on Thursday, April 23, 2026
