I attended Dr. Doyin Okupe's commendation service earlier today. In what would have been his 73rd birthday today, his family, friends and well wishers gathered to celebrate a man whose life was a blessing to those close to him. It was also a moment for me to publicly talk about my relationship with him, his struggles and other things before he left this world. It was the moment for me to speak the bitterest truth. It is my prayer that God rest his soul. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his family and loved ones.

I attended the crossover service at the Dunamis International Gospel Center, Glory Dome, Abuja, hosted by Dr. and Dr. (Mrs.) Paul Enenche. The service was graced by former Presidents of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma and other distinguished dignitaries, and a congregation of devoted worshippers. It was a time of heartfelt prayer and inspiring worship as we crossed over into the year 2025 with faith and hope. As we step into this new year, I join millions of Nigerians in praying for a New Nigeria—a nation where insecurity, hunger, poverty, and the absence of empathy are replaced with peace, prosperity, compassion and good governance. Together, we shall continue working tirelessly to transform Nigeria by prioritizing education, improving healthcare, and pulling people out of poverty. Yesterday, I attended the commissioning of the magnificent twenty thousand-seater International Worship Centre of the Christ Chosen Church of God International in Benin City. This impressive edifice stands as a testament to the church's growth and dedication. My heartfelt congratulations go out to the Spiritual Leader, Apostle David Unuefe Ikhuiwu, and the entire congregation on this significant milestone. The event was made even more special by the presence of my father, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), who was the guest minister. Seeing him brought back a flood of memories and emotions. My Christian journey is inextricably linked with Papa Oritsejafor's ministry. For over two decades, while living in Warri, I was blessed to sit under his spiritual guidance, first at the Church of God Mission International (CGMI) and later at the World of Life Bible Church which he founded. The church's motto, "Building and Equipping Those Who Build the Nation," now seems prophetic, resonating deeply with my current pursuits. May God continue to bless Papa Oritsejafor and sustain his ministry for generations to come.

I recently had the opportunity to speak at a 10-year celebration event honoring the collaboration between The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara in Dubai. Thanks to a joint effort with our good friends, Dr. Surender Singh Kandhari and Dr. Bubbles Kandhari, The Church of Jesus Christ has had the honor to participate in meaningful service to bless the lives of those in need by providing meals to the hungry. We look forward to continuing the collaboration with this gurudwara for years to come.
