Precisely, TAM is growing slowly. New players are entering Slices of each competitor is reducing Slices of organised players are increasing due to lot of spending on advertisement and marketing, and discounting, this is at the expense of unorganised players This fact, is across consumption and services

@moneycontrolcom @RajeevThakkar Great insights. Indeed, consumption is not slowing down, competition is heating up as new players are coming in every other month. When new players come in, it's obvious that P/L of many existing companies will show bad numbers.

@moneycontrolcom @RajeevThakkar Clearly explains why they bought Bharti #Airtel recently. Competitive Intensity has reduced in sector. Players are coming down in sector. Company has pricing power. Sector has turned into duopoly. Interesting.!!

@moneycontrolcom @RajeevThakkar What about GST not growing at nominal GDP growth rate? June 25 GST growth seems to be less than 7% while nominal GDP, even by govt fig is ~10%. What does this tell? Based on what Speaker was saying GST should be growing faster, GST on Food + Delivery. Same for Shoes too.

@moneycontrolcom @RajeevThakkar Who is this stupid fellow

@moneycontrolcom @RajeevThakkar No consumption slowdown in India, just a shift in how we consume

@moneycontrolcom @RajeevThakkar That sounds like spin.
