I’m mixed Asian and grew up on MSG. I used to cook with it and it was like a using a cheat, everything tasted sooo good easily with it. My husband though gets terrible migraines if he eats msg, so I have had to learn to cook without it, and it’s definitely a challenge to make food taste as good. More work and more spice combos.

Now I am thinking maybe we need to keep this on the DL
