Those particles help make it rain and snow. It's the latest in weather modification” “The engineers at Rainmaker, a tech company in southern California, are hoping that this winter they'll make more rain and snow than ever before” “They take a cloud that's not yet raining or snowing and then fly a drone like this into it. Out of this silver area comes trillions of molecules of silver iodide. That is an ice nucleating particle. So it's something like a magnet that attracts more water droplets.
