This is why we call it the “Pilot In Command” This happened in the same vicinity where the ill-fated Lear Jet hit the storm cell. JetBlue pilot en route from Fort Lauderdale to Austin says to ATC: “So you're gonna make us go through a, uh, severe thunderstorm?” The captain then commanded the situation and overrode the ATC: “So we declare an emergency, making a left turn heading 260 for severe weather avoidance.” Sometimes piloting demands a specific set of traits - decisiveness, independent judgment, and the backbone to reject an instruction when it doesn’t feel right. Refusing the assigned heading showed exactly that kind of assertive leadership. Whoever is pilot monitoring must make these tough calls but ultimately, the captain is the final authority and ultimately accountable for every soul on board.

The way she twisted everything and betrayed her own son still makes me sick till today. It’s safe to say Nicole Keller is the worst character in Law & Order TV series 🍿🎥

There’s nothing lowkey about it, she is quite literally credited as the pioneer of Staccato rap. Google it for yourself and see.

🇮🇷 🇺🇸 After decades of warnings about an Iranian NUKE, the new alarm is chemical weapons... and even Washington isn’t buying it Israel has told the US and Gulf states that Tehran could turn to chemical arms, and American officials are openly skeptical of the intelligence. Trita Parsi, executive vice president of the Quincy Institute, says the weapon in the headline keeps changing because the real fight never did, a regional rivalry that outside powers keep getting pulled into. Partners who already doubt this warning are the ones who’d be asked to fight over it. Trita Parsi

🚨🇺🇸 Alex Jones says a Democratic win could be WORSE than the Republican losses he’s already FURIOUS about. He remains angry with the GOP over the Iran war and Epstein, but rejects the idea of letting Democrats win as punishment. Jones warns that Democrats could use power to launch investigations and pursue court packing. He’s pushing back against the “let them lose” approach embraced by Nick Fuentes and Mark Levin. For him, a wipeout it's the very risk. Writer: Lucas

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trita Parsi: Trump may have a way out of the Iran war, but the WINDOW COULD CLOSE after the midterms I spoke with Trita Parsi just hours before Americans headed to the polls, and he shared something I found genuinely encouraging. He's hearing that U.S.-Iran negotiations have made progress on some of the BIGGEST obstacles, including when Washington would lift its blockade and when Tehran would address its nuclear program. Other countries are also involved behind the scenes, potentially helping make an agreement more durable. But there's a catch. Trita believes the political pressure on Trump to make a deal could actually WEAKEN once the midterms are over. And if Democrats win Congress, those pushing for another military offensive may see the weeks before January as their last opportunity to act. We also discussed Israel's new intelligence warning that Iran could use chemical weapons. Trita questioned the timing and argued that even genuine intelligence can be presented in a way that exaggerates the threat. Then came a particularly disturbing revelation. He recalled a private meeting in 2011 where an Israeli general suggested that America's use of nuclear weapons against Japan had produced decades of peace, implying that a similar approach could work against Iran. That doesn't establish Tucker Carlson's recent claim that Netanyahu is privately pushing Trump to use nuclear weapons. But it explains why Trita refuses to dismiss the possibility outright. What stayed with me was his assessment of the negotiations: there is real reason for cautious hope, but absolutely no guarantee Trump will take the deal. And Trita believes the next 24 to 48 hours could be decisive. Trita Parsi

Hasan Piker just admitted, under no pressure btw, that he nutted untouched from looking at the CNN polls that were favoring the Democratic Party for the Senate races: "We're talking Blichigan. We're talking Blaine. We're talking Blansas and maybe Bloklahoma, Blorida, Blidaho, Blouth Dakota, Blorth Dakota. Fuck it. GUAM." 😭

Damn... this story hits heavy. She asked him to stop initiating, he actually listened for *sixteen months*, no pressure, no sneaking, nothing. And then one day he’s like “yeah I’m done living like roommates.” The quiet part is what gets me. He wasn’t yelling or cheating or making threats. He just slowly checked out while still showing up for the kid and the laundry. That’s the scary part is when the fighting stops because one person already left in their head. Sixteen months of “I’ll tell you when I’m ready” with no timeline is a long time to keep hoping the connection comes back. You can’t take one of the biggest parts of marriage off the table indefinitely and act surprised when the other person eventually walks. Painful story. Real one though.
