I just think the outfit was not flattering. Like we can be honest her body was not what people expected but it was a realistic body. Someone made an edit of it being a one piece and it looked a lot better. During the era she didn’t choose outfits that were flattering

I think context missing in this discourse revival is her demeanor was also markedly subdued (presumably due to meds) so yes fatphobia was certainly at play in ppls reactions but the body differences were amplified by her lack of energy, which many found disturbing or concerning

Nah, this is how it looked then but at the time that was wide. In a different outfit it probably wouldn't have been a scandal but she was being compared to her teen figure

The choreography was never good and I don’t understand why it includes so many giant steps up almost 3 feet in ankle breaking spike stilettos. She’s also never had very wide hips, so her best costumes are always having a little skirt or something on her hips to balance her out.

Rehearsal for what exactly, she gave nothing. I know the lore behind it but it still looks like she came up with the dance as the song was playing. This didn't WOW me as a comeback

She’s so gorgeous - absolutely stunning nobody looks like her to this day she leaves them in the dust… they try to dress like her move like her and sound like her but they can’t do that either.

It was never widened or whatever. It's just most the videos of it have the wrong aspect ratio. The broadcast was the correct aspect ratio.
