much smoother after applying a low pass Butterworth filter with a 3hz cutoff. this filters out high frequency small movements (aka noise) in the trajectory, it also naturally attenuates the signal so makes the robot move slower, I’ve added a bit of gain back to compensate and speed it... show more

Almost none of them know it's a filter, and funds pay quants $600K for the version they were never taught." a moving average is a filter. it smooths a jumpy price to reveal the slower signal hiding underneath. that is all it is, and it is the bluntest one there is. the same math gives you filters that lag less and cut more noise, and that gap is a real edge. this is the second half of what Simons was doing. first you accept the market is a signal buried in noise. then you build the filter that reads it, and the moving average on your chart is the crudest possible version. Oppenheim builds the real ones at the board in this lecture. here is the catch. a filter only helps if there is a real signal under the noise. smooth pure randomness and you will see a beautiful trend that means nothing. the filter is free. knowing there is a real signal worth filtering is the edge.

It seems the driving instructor hadn't got to the bit in the manual about cyclists yet. There was a pupil driving. Surely a little prompt - "you've got plenty of time, mirrors, signal, overtake the cyclist with plenty of space", but this driving school seems to be breeding the next generation close passers.

250330 Yuju's Ending Ment 🐶 when i'm on stage, i usually try to capture at least one more Buddy in my eyes. But this time, i think i tried to capture the members in my eyes a bit more. When i was dancing, i saw the members' backs, and their backs were still the same as the ones i saw 10 years ago. And i think it was the greatest luck in my life that i was so lucky to become a singer and got to sing GFriend's song. When we started this 10th anniversary project, i thought it would be a time to look back on the past, but as i did it, i think my thoughts changed a lil bit. I think while looking back on the past, it will also be a picture that continues to move forward. Don't remember it as a memory, but think of it nicely that we will continue to move forward together. And now, as i grow older, i've become more careful about promises, so i'm a bit careful saying things like this, but still, let's meet again someday. Thank you so much Buddy

#ForzaHorizon6 RT Global Illumination on the 3060 Ti. RTGI can look excellent in the right scenes, but it also introduces quite a bit of noise. The only way to reduce it is by increasing the resolution or using High, and both options come with a significant performance cost.

At first, it was a bit difficult to arrange positions, the CEO also checked the girls and ask for them to not kneel in the front, but I don't know why, because it was so crowded there, the organizers of this event told the girls to kneel in the front. What makes ME a bit annoying is that there must be a bare minimum for the guys to try to give their position for the girls, but they just keep quiet. I don't hate anyone here, in fact there are my biases too in there but this is very dissapointing

Last workout of the year! As the year comes to an end, I’ve been checking a few baselines to see where I’m at and plan the year ahead. Training’s been a bit inconsistent recently, but with a reduced playing schedule coming up it’ll allow me to train a bit harder and experiment with some things I’ve always wanted to try. It can sometimes get boring over the years if you’re doing similar things relentlessly, year on year. Now that I’ve got a bit more freedom, I’ll be taking advantage of that and adding some fun back in. I’ll be jumping back on the speed train soon too, as my clubhead speed has been down since breaking my ankle last year. I’ll be sharing some of that in the new year and seeing what I can get it back to.
