I haven’t owed anybody money for over 30 years. I don’t borrow because I don’t like to owe anybody anything. I have ways to make money and if I don’t have enough for something then I’ll make it work by saving and working harder. I would never make a bet with anybody that I did not intend to keep. That’s an easy one for me because I don’t like gambling at all. The gentleman sitting down and eating is a coworker who made a sports bet with the angry gentleman. After the man who was sitting down lost the bet, he refused to pay. The angry man then flipped out and quit his job. Do you feel that was a wise decision to quit your job over that? I feel he shouldn’t have ever made the bet with a co worker none the less quit a job that made him money. I once loaned money to a family member who was desperate or he claimed to be. I ended up forgetting about it and years went by. I was thinking one day about why I haven’t heard from him and I tried to recall in my mind our last interaction. Then it dawned on me that he owed me money and that’s why I haven’t seen or heard from him again. My point is that life goes on. If somebody owes me money and didn’t pay. I blame myself for poorly judging their character, as it was my decision to loan them money anyhow. Does anyone else share my mentality or is money owed money owed? Maybe I’m just being too forgiving or I just don’t care enough to get mad anymore.
