“Multiculturalism does not produce a melting pot. It produces a pressure cooker.” Ryan Matthew Neuhaus argues that America is not just an abstract “idea”. It’s a nation built on shared heritage, and immigrants who reject those core values are a detriment to it.

America is not merely an idea. It is a people and a home—a distinct nation forged by those who settled, built, and defended it across generations. Yes, America's founding principles are unique and special: liberty, self-governance, the rule of law, etc. But those principles were not proclaimed as a universal invitation for anyone and everyone. The Constitution itself declares that the Founders established this Union to "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." Posterity means descendants, HEIRS, not an open-ended promise to everyone in the world. Immigrants can assimilate, blending into the American fabric over time. But the reality is far more complex: true, deep assimilation often takes multiple generations, and for most, their primary allegiance remains with their country of origin. Their hearts stay tied to distant homelands, which shape their views on policy, culture, and identity, which is why so many immigrants are increasingly anti-American and leftwing. This is why the notion that foreigners should never hold high public office in our nation is not radical, it's protective. If barring foreigners from such roles means wackos like Mazie Hirono or Ilhan Omar never wield power over the future of America, that is a trade I'm making without hesitation. America belongs to Americans—those tied to its history, its blood, its legacy. We must preserve the rich heritage and shared story that made this nation exceptional, not dilute it in the name of an abstract ideal of melting pots or something. America for Americans. Period. From my appearance on the latest Tim Pool IRL episode.
