In Canada, during ‘Rath Yatra’ eggs were thrown. Hindus didn’t start a rampage of destroying public property like Jihadis or Khalistanis. Thats the difference. Personally I’m not in favour of such display of religion in any country which isn’t native. Multiculturalism and all is good, but isn’t helping the world at all.
