Then you go in the to find a real estate property in Mumbai and you'll find out everything is sold out I mean this is a big black market going on there and no side of political party will help in this case because everyone is profiteering out of it.

99% of Indians also don't live in Mumbai & neither do they earn Mumbai salaries & wages. You're just falling victims to fat tails. In NYC if you make $100k you qualify for public housing but in rest of the US if you make $100k you're literally celebrated & can live like a king.

Don’t you think the top 1 percent stat is flawed. Most of the people in India don’t declare their income, so they dont come under this 1 percent. Where do they keep that money, real estate. Who can afford such exorbitantly overpriced houses, the very same people.

So true man!!! India needs 10 big Delhi size new cities built up asap with world class infrastructure!!! But just look at Dholera(newly built city from scratch), no skyscraper no apartments in 5 years.

There's another economy which runs in india and that's black money economy, if you account for that then top 1% earns 20L/month so yeah even by that standards nyc is cheaper lmao

If you have father's property here in Mumbai then stay here or else simply don't come in Mumbai..we have enough population now

But it is not directly proportionate with income vs Cost , it proportionate with Population , a demand vs supply. In india purchasing a home is generally a Family battle not a single earning (broadly) that's why there are buyers. That's why the cost.

China vs India at 4trillion Both economies reached the $4 trillion threshold with roughly similar total populations (~1.3–1.4 billion). However, China built roughly 10 times more organized urban apartments at that economic stage than India builds today (450,000–500,000 units/year

Rightly exposed, they don't show who's charging the crores and where it goes, it goes to people above the 1% who aren't visible as they're protected.

Wherever there is dynamics of demand and supply, prices escalate. The mismatch prices are mainly due to massive black money, remittances received from abroad and above all nexus of builders and inherit corruption in concerned govt machinery which adds to the project cost

Mumbai prices makes no sense to me.. Price like Tokyo, New York and infrastructure like sub Saharan.. Why is it costly when it can't compete with Tokyo or New York in salary offered and infrastructure 🫠 it will remain a mystery..
