He’s lame on one leg and the other leg has open wounds on it plus I think there is trauma to his back end! My gut feeling is he’s been hit by a car. I have reached out to a rescue to see if they can help as he definitely needs trapping and treating. Extra food is going out at the fox feeding station at the back of the hedge so he hasn’t got as far to travel for food and I hope and pray he comes back nightly so that we can help him. Loving wildlife has it ups and downs and this one is very upsetting. Today I found a sweet mother cat with a bunch of the cutest little kittens, their soft eyes full of innocence. I fed them and stayed by their side until an old lady kindly offered to take them in. They remained there, but their little paws left prints on my heart. 🐾❤️

🙏💔😢It has now been 65 days since aid has crossed the borders, 65 days since a single piece of food or medicine or even water was allowed to enter into 💔🇵🇸😞#Gaza. The markets are empty and deserted, visiting them is a great risk, and there is nothing there worth going for anyway. 🫂 I am feeling physically better than I was previously, my friends. The terrible pain and fatigue that seemed to settle in every corner of my body has lightened, but the terrible situation we are in weighs down on us heavier than ever, and the news only continues to point us towards our certain death. I'm unsure what to even say to you some days. It's hard to convey the urgency of our request when we ask you for help, that people will die before our eyes if we cannot continue to operate the kitchen, and that every day we have to choose who to help and who to refuse. It's like we're living in hell or something arguably worse. My friends and I wish to continue to help the desperate hungry people with food and water, but we urgently need more donations to do this. I want to look after my family, too, and the cats in my shelter, which is becoming increasingly difficult every day. Please help us, my friends, I hate to beg but we are dying and we desperately want to live and to help others to live too. Things have never been this bad, please stand by us and support us if you can. We desperately need donations, and more than anything, we need lots of aid to come in and this cruel war to end. We want peace. It would mean so much to me if you would share my message, and please donate if you are able to, my great friends. Together, we will continue to support our great dog breeders across this country who bring so much joy to so many, while stepping up enforcement on every bad-actor puppy mill in America. The days of Dept. of Agriculture turning a blind eye are over. And a very special THANK YOU to ALL those who work so hard to find homes for so many of our rescue dogs (like my beautiful Maggie). Every day we feed those who have lost everything and who rely on us for a warm meal. But we can't do it alone. As prices soar, even basic necessities are becoming a struggle. Cat food is now an expensive luxury. We’re doing what we can to feed the street 💔🐈#cats. 🐾These wonderful creatures offer a small bit of comfort in an otherwise unbearable life. At night there are flares right above our house, frightening all of us, especially the children. The noises never stop being terrifying, even after you have listened to them for over 700 days, they still make your blood feel cold and your heart feel like it has stopped. I visited the markets this morning, but my family and I had to quickly flee the area after it was threatened. 🥺 I asked you yesterday what it would take for this to stop, and I fear that the answer is it will stop when all of us are dead. I truly fear none of us will survive these events, my dear friends. That our homes, lives, memories and dreams are all to be flattened, buried and forgotten. Our only hope is to pray that we are lucky, that is what our entire lives depend on. Just luck, my friends. Of course, we would never have made it this far without any of you. You have stood by us and helped us, even when the rest of the world ignored us, you were there. That makes me very proud. Hello, my friends.🫂 Thank you for your efforts and words for my family and our cruelty free camp, unfortunately the situation has not improved and only continues to get worse.😢🌧 I'm worried that some of the families in our camp are going to end up without shelter due to how severe our weather has been, and the fragility of their tents.⛺️💔 I'm trying to help our camp as best as I can, I'm also trying very much to be a good husband and father for my family. Unfortunately, life is still very hard for us, and your donations are what make it possible for us to live and also for me to afford the food I buy for the cats and stray dogs on the streets🐈🐕. Again, Thank you for being my happiness during my loneliest days. I know each of us had our own reasons for joining as MENTIES- we found healing, we kept going, and we survived each day despite our personal struggles, depression, and anxiety. Because of MikBrent, even the saddest days felt a little lighter. I have no regrets. I was genuinely happy to be part of this journey. MikBrent was real during those times and there’s no doubt their love for us was TRUE, and the care they had for each other was also REAL. It’s just that the only constant in life is change.
