A colleague's baby was born 2 months early and had some complications. They had to stay 2 months in the hospital. Thankfully, the company insurance covered everything, because the bill was 1.1 million USD. The US is so cooked.

In the UK I suffered severe anaemia. I was given 2 blood transfusions and an iron transfusion. I was examined by 3 different doctors and went in a body scanning machine. I was in hospital for 3 days. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner. As many hot drinks as I wanted. Cost? ยฃ0.

Even the Dr.'s and nurses hate how the system works. And the government has allowed big pharma to monopolise every step of the process. They own the hospitals, insurance companies, and the pharmacies and are pricegouging the fuck out of Americans while doing less and less, denying more and more. Shit ahould be considered TREASON. Big pharma needs broken up.

There's a lot of idiots convinced that the UK should adopt the American system, because they don't like waiting for free treatments. I'm in Scotland, so I don't even have to pay for the medications I take every day. I have an appointment in an hour and that is free to me too.

You went to an emergency room for a couple stitches instead of an urgent care? Emergency rooms have mandatory fees. An urgent care would be 500 without insurance but about 50 with insurance. The emergency rooms cannot turn you around and tell you to go to an urgent care because it is illegal for them to not serve you thanks to left wing legislation. The problem wasn't their fees. The problem was your ignorance.
