I had similar encounters in my neighborhood by feeding the starlings cat kibbles on my sheds roof. 3 flocks randomly swooping around just like that - but minus the city backdrop. Pretty impressive to say the least. :)

They are absolutely incredible.

And they can do all that without air traffic control.

I will never get bored of seeing this.

Never before has such lovely music accompanied starlings.

Regelmatig hier in de herfst te zien in Utrecht, CS herbergt een aanzienlijke kolonie.

A sight to behold isn't it. On a smaller scale, they do that over the pier at Brighton. Wonderful to watch.

Makes me think of the murmuration of human minds on X.
