The world's first real droid. Giving nature its own computer. For billions of years, fungi have been the Earth's oldest and most sophisticated communication network. Beneath every forest floor, meadow, and ecosystem, mycelial networks exchange information, nutrients, and warnings at scales we're only beginning to understand. Mushroom 1 is humanity's first attempt to listen. By deploying persistent, solar-powered sensor stations that tap into environmental signals from soil bioelectrics to atmospheric conditions, we can finally give nature a voice. This isn't just monitoring. It's Environmental Intelligence. It is Mycosoft's first non-human computer made to interact with nature directly, including the mycelium networks of Earth through its ground-actuated Fungal Computer Interface probe. Mushroom 1 brings live biospheric, acoustic, thermal, chemical, mechanical, and bioelectric signals into the Mycosoft stack from the place where any signal is created in Nature. Environmental Intelligence is a new paradigm where the natural world becomes an active participant in our decision-making, warning us of fires before they ignite, detecting contamination before it spreads, and revealing the hidden health of ecosystems in real-time.

A “Mushroom King” born from a rotten apple 🍎🍄 After two years of being followed by netizens, the viral “Fruit Mushroom King” has finally arrived. The story began in 2024, during China’s plum rain season, when a woman in Deqing discovered a rare white mushroom growing from a rotten apple that was almost thrown away. Photos of the strange fungus went viral online and caught the attention of researchers at the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Scientists found it was an extremely rare Schizophyllum strain naturally sprouting from an apple — a valuable resource for mushroom breeding. The apple traveled more than 2,000 km to a laboratory, where the strain was nicknamed “Fruit Mushroom King.” The original wild strain was tough and dry, making it difficult to eat. Researchers then crossed it with space-bred mushroom strains carried aboard China’s Shenzhou-12 spacecraft. After eight generations of selection and improvement, the new variety now has a crisp texture, produces almost no spores, and can be harvested in just 15–20 days. The improved mushroom is now entering small-scale commercial production.

Sible Sentinel will open to early testers this week. Sentinel is a comprehensive AI-powered geopolitical and strategic intelligence platform designed to analyze global events, identify emerging risks, deliver timely alerts, and provide real-time intelligence across critical domains including defense and security, military activity, aviation, logistics, and global operations. Built for government and non-government organizations, Sentinel transforms large volumes of fragmented, rapidly changing information into actionable intelligence. By continuously analyzing signals across multiple domains, it helps organizations maintain situational awareness, understand developing events, and identify potential operational, geopolitical, and security risks as they emerge. More importantly, Sentinel represents an important connection between real-world enterprise AI adoption and the Sible ecosystem. 20% of revenue from eligible Sentinel contracts will be allocated to a dedicated reserve designed to support the long-term distribution of rewards across the Sible community. As enterprise adoption grows, the goal is to create a sustainable economic link between the technology Sible builds for real-world organizations and the community helping grow the broader network. Early testers will be among the first to experience how Sible Sentinel transforms global data into real-time intelligence — and one of the first products demonstrating how enterprise AI and the Sible ecosystem can grow together.

Engineers from the UK have “taught” mushrooms to play music using bionic arms. Are humans going too far with technology? 🤔 Jon Ross and Andy Kidd, engineers and artists from the UK, have developed a system that allows mushrooms and plants to play music through bionic arms. Jon, the visionary behind Bionic and the Wires, combines art, technology, and environmental thinking to create custom bionic arms that enable plants and fungi to produce music and visual art, challenging traditional human-centered notions of creativity by empowering non-human lifeforms to express themselves. Complementing this, Andy, a skilled electronic musician and live performer, transforms bio-signals from nature into immersive soundscapes using synthesizers and digital tools, bridging the organic and technological realms. Together, their innovative collaboration pushes the boundaries of art and redefines who (or what) can be considered an artist. Their project merges biology, robotics, and creativity, turning natural bioelectric signals into expressive performances, and here’s how they describe it: “We connect bionic arms to mushrooms and plants so they can play music and be creative. Our art explores new ways of thinking about the natural world. All life creates bio-electrical signals. Our equipment converts these into signals that are used to control the arms. Recent research suggests that fungi and plants exhibit surprising levels of intelligence, including decision-making, learning, memory, and the ability to respond to sound waves.”

In the early hours of Saturday, 18th May 2025, the Chairman of the Lekki Estate Residents Association (Lekki Phase 1 Residents Association (LERA) ) alerted us to an incident involving the illegal dumping of refuse along Durosimi-Etti Street in Lekki Phase 1. A white Ford van with Abuja registration plates GWA 136E was caught in the act of indiscriminately discharging waste. The vehicle was traced to DONALD restaurant, a nightlife establishment located on Road 14 within the estate. The suspects were apprehended on the scene by LERA’s Chief Security Officer and taken into custody at the LERA Secretariat. It was reported that the individuals attempted to bribe the security team with ₦100,000—an offer that was firmly declined. Following the report, the Managing Director of LAWMA deployed the Monitoring and Compliance team to the location. The team took custody of the suspects and immediately sealed the premises of DONALD restaurant for gross environmental violations, in breach of the Lagos State Environmental Management and Protection Law, 2017. This incident reflects a broader pattern of non-compliance among several commercial operators in Lekki Phase 1 who have failed to register with their assigned Private Sector Participant (PSP) operators. Many of these facilities have been implicated in repeated acts of illegal dumping, particularly during off-peak hours. LAWMA’s partnership with LERA continues to deliver tangible results in identifying and sanctioning environmental defaulters. The Authority commends the swift and principled response of the LERA Exco and their security team. The suspects will be prosecuted in accordance with the law. LAWMA remains resolute in its commitment to enforcing environmental regulations across Lagos and urges all residents and businesses to adhere strictly to proper waste management practices. A clean and livable city is everyone’s responsibility. #KeepLagosClean #AGreaterLagosRising #LAWMACares

Humanity will split into two. They are already aiding the rise of a new human race, and the steps were eerily and accurately described in 1983 by Michio Kushi. From ultra-psychonotization and controlling the population with chemicals from 2000 to 2020, to the creation of artificial intelligence and robotic workers, to merging humans with AI, controlling emotions through waves, satellites, and technology, and ultimately to the creation of a new human race. The artificial spirit versus natural creation. It is Biblical. Now do you understand the concept of Neuralink and Starlink? Do you see what is happening?

Today, I met with the Acting Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Ganiu Obasa in company of other heads of agencies, permanent secretaries and directors, to strengthen collaboration between the State and Local Governments on environmental sustainability and waste management. Our discussion focused on how to move from a linear waste system, where we simply pick and drop, to a circular system where waste becomes a resource. This is the future we are building for Lagos. We agreed that real progress in achieving a cleaner, flood-free, and sustainable Lagos must begin at the grassroots. The Local Governments and LCDAs play a critical role in ensuring that every household, market, and street supports the State’s vision for a cleaner environment. As part of our action points: Environmental Health Officers will work directly with LAWMA to strengthen enforcement and ensure prompt waste collection. LASPARK will support identified areas in Agege with greenery and beautification. Drainage engineers attached to the LGA will provide technical support on flooding and channel maintenance. This partnership is a reminder that sustainability is a shared responsibility. Together, we can build the cleaner, safer, and more resilient Lagos we all deserve. #CleanerLagos #GreaterLagos
