music notation is hard for me, so I'm trying to create an intentional synesthetic connection between notes and colors in my brain I made a new version of kepiano that connects via midi and displays the notes as flexoki colors (oh and there's a woodworking project in there too)

New library almost done, can't wait to fill it with all my books 🥰 I've designed and built lots furniture in the past but this has been the most complex and challenging by far. In the past I have mostly worked with plywood. For this project I wanted to build out of solid oak and use Japanese joinery techniques. I don't have time to fabricate complex projects these days, and I wasn't confident enough in my woodworking skills. So I collaborated with a local carpenter. This allowed for so many more interesting design details that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Whatever your furniture needs are, consider being a patron of your local carpenters, cabinetmakers, and woodworkers. Yes it's slower and more expensive than going to IKEA but the process is much more rewarding, and the results will be more unique and long lasting.

I've got a situation and I'm asking for help from experts in firearms and ballistics. Two shots were fired - nearly a minute apart - while I was working on my car. Each shot had two distinct audible components - a crack and a bang with only a tiny fraction of time between them. My impression in the moment is that it was literally right behind me, and the crack startled me. In the moment I thought I may have heard an impact somewhere beside me. 3 of my coworkers were worried about me and my recent breakup, so they showed up to my house randomly and knocked on my bedroom door with a bouquet of flowers to check upnon me and hang out ;w; They didnt realize it but the flowers are my fursona's colors and that made me feel more happy about it. To say that 3 months ago I went from -3k -> 5.6k -> 23k to now is just so amazing for me. Im happy with the turnout of every single day as well as I can't thank 67FnF anymore and all the boys that are in there 30-1 pretty damn happy and my 1 off day is the day after I ended a 4-year relationship so i'm happy to say I kept my head down and kept grinding.
