Absolutely not. Britain cannot continue down this road. Illegal migration must be stopped, and the wider immigration system needs to be brought firmly under control. Until the Government can prove that our borders are secure, immigration rules are actually enforced and the system can no longer be manipulated or abused, there should be a pause on further immigration. Get control of the country first. Put enforcement, infrastructure and the interests of the British public first. Millions of people are tired of being lectured to and ignored when they raise legitimate concerns about immigration and border control. A government has a fundamental responsibility to control who enters the country and to maintain public confidence in the system. Enough is enough. Secure our borders. Enforce our laws.
