CHRISTIANS DONT EVEN GET THESE KINDS OF PRIVILEGES AND THIS IS A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY. so i decided to go to the stafford school board meeting as a muslim and use reductio ad absurdum to ask for other INSANE things that the quran teaches in schools. like how mohammed married aiesha at 6 years old and consummated the marriage at 9 years old. will stafford schools include in their 'family values' classes that kindergarteners can get married? Now they want prayer mats in the library so students can walk out of class and pray on demand. This is not a kid quietly bowing a head at lunch. This is the school being pressed to supply the room, the mats, the hall pass, and the official stamp of approval. A teacher who says the library is for books, not a prayer hall, does not get a conversation. CAIR arrives with “know your rights” packets, accommodation templates, media hits, complaints, and lawsuits. Say no, and you can become the target. Parents need to see this for what it is. Baby Adolf Hitler ends up in the yearbook at a New Jersey middle school. The baby Hitler photo from 1889 was discovered by a teacher after 8th-grade students at East Brook Middle School began signing each other's yearbooks. Students were told to submit a baby photo for the yearbook. According to NBC 4 New York, one student decided to submit a photo of baby Hitler instead. An investigation is underway to determine how no one noticed the photo before the yearbooks were printed. "An image of [Hitler] has no place in a yearbook created for our students. U of T converts shared prayer room into Muslim-only space, Jewish students pushed out The University of Toronto has officially redesignated the former Open Assembly Space in the Bahen Centre for Information Technology, a convenient ground-floor prayer room long used as a non-denominational option by engineering students, as a dedicated Muslim prayer space. The February 13, 2026 announcement by the Multi-Faith Centre justifies the move by citing heavy usage by Muslim students and promises future upgrades like prayer mats, storage, and ablution stations with bidets. An ablution station is a washing facility where Muslims perform wudu, the ritual washing of hands, face, arms, head, and feet, required before their daily prayers. Before the change was made official, Jewish students who depended on the space for daily prayers began facing barriers. The full carpeting made praying with shoes on, standard for many Jews, feel impossible without either breaking religious custom or feeling like they were desecrating the room. Anti-Israel propaganda flyers turned up in the space that should have been a neutral place of worship. Loud group prayers also disrupted individuals trying to complete their own observances. Then the prayer room was fully converted to a Muslim-only prayer space in February with the Multi-Faith Centre citing that the Bahen prayer room was hardly used until the Muslim Students Association decided to “invest” in it by making the mentioned changes. When I contacted U of T Media Relations, they responded with a classic deflection. They pointed to the original announcement and provided a list of other worship spaces across campuses, including the St. George Campus Jewish Centre and various Christian options. They offered no explanation for why a previously shared, centrally located room was converted rather than kept multi-faith. It was the standard institutional response: there are other spaces, go use those. This is not genuine accommodation; it is demographic surrender to the majority, disguised as inclusivity. The university is bending over backwards to formalize and upgrade a dominant group’s preferred space while telling other students to consult a campus map. Non-Muslim students at U of T deserve better than second-class treatment and to feel targeted in a place of prayer. By prioritizing one community’s needs and deflecting legitimate complaints, the University of Toronto is sending a clear message about whose belonging actually counts on campus. The February 13, 2026 announcement by the Multi-Faith Centre justifies the move by citing heavy usage by Muslim students and promises future upgrades like prayer mats, storage, and ablution stations with bidets. An ablution station is a washing facility where Muslims perform wudu, the ritual washing of hands, face, arms, head, and feet, required before their daily prayers. Before the change was made official, Jewish students who depended on the space for daily prayers began facing barriers. The full carpeting made praying with shoes on, standard for many Jews, feel impossible without either breaking religious custom or feeling like they were desecrating the room. Anti-Israel propaganda flyers turned up in the space that should have been a neutral place of worship. Loud group prayers also disrupted individuals trying to complete their own observances. Then the prayer room was fully converted to a Muslim-only prayer space in February with the Multi-Faith Centre citing that the Bahen prayer room was hardly used until the Muslim Students Association decided to “invest” in it by making the mentioned changes. When I contacted U of T Media Relations, they responded with a classic deflection. They pointed to the original announcement and provided a list of other worship spaces across campuses, including the St. George Campus Jewish Centre and various Christian options. They offered no explanation for why a previously shared, centrally located room was converted rather than kept multi-faith. It was the standard institutional response: there are other spaces, go use those. This is not genuine accommodation; it is demographic surrender to the majority, disguised as inclusivity. The university is bending over backwards to formalize and upgrade a dominant group’s preferred space while telling other students to consult a campus map. Non-Muslim students at U of T deserve better than second-class treatment and to feel targeted in a place of prayer. By prioritizing one community’s needs and deflecting legitimate complaints, the University of Toronto is sending a clear message about whose belonging actually counts on campus. I want to speak directly to San Francisco’s public-school parents and our students. I know many of you are worried about the possibility of a teacher strike that could temporarily close schools—and I want you to hear this clearly from me: our kids come first. As mayor, even though I don’t oversee our school district, I’m deeply committed to making sure our kids get a world-class education—with safe public schools where kids can learn and educators are well supported. It is crucial that our schools remain open. Every day in the classroom matters. I have been in regular contact with both the school district and the teachers union, and I am urging them to keep talking so kids can keep learning. Our working parents can’t afford to stay home if schools are closed. Our special needs students can’t afford to lose access to vital services that help them succeed. Schools are the foundation that makes daily life possible and helps every family in San Francisco thrive. I am also actively working with city departments to ensure we have options for our students in the event that classrooms do close. But I want to make one thing clear—what is best for our students is for the adults to continue discussions at the table so we can keep kids in the classroom. I will continue pushing for solutions that keep our schools open and our students learning. San Francisco’s families deserve nothing less.
