My dad made me go to jail at 19 Could have got me off My mom almost divorced him, she wasn’t happy at all, but my dad needed to save my life, what he to me He looked me straight in my eyes and said “Jeremy, I need u to become a man now” He knew i was a wild teenager and I’d end up dead or in prison forever Love and respect him for that, now I have 3 grown children and just became a grandfather in October at 45. I never went back because he made that choice! He need me in one place to teach me how to be a man! Why fathers are so important! My mom could have never made that call! Love u dad and thank u💪❤️

I wish my dad was still here so I could pour him a drink and make him a steak… he did a great job and I still think of him every day! I only hope my kids think I’m half the father he was, I have big shoes to fill…

Yes my Dad did all of those things for me. I see now that all he wanted was for me to be safe in this fucked up world and to make something of myself. He's gone now and I am now the bad guy in my children's eyes when all I wish for is exactly as my Dad wished for me.
