Wow, that sounds super interesting—thanks for the heads-up! Prompt engineering is evolving so fast lately. I’m especially curious about the part on using personas and metaphors. Did you watch it already? Any standout takeaways?

Is OpenAI or anthropic gonna have the better pod?

As things unfold, I think prompt engineering will be the solution. For small task apps, whether for a Python app or HTML/JavaScript, the prompt and the AI will take care of it on the fly. Most people don't want to or won't need to code. They will prompt.

Our first short course with Anthropic! Building Towards Computer Use with Anthropic. This teaches you to build an LLM-based agent that uses a computer interface by generating mouse clicks and keystrokes. Computer Use is an important, emerging capability for LLMs that will let AI agents do many more tasks than were possible before, since it lets them interact with interfaces designed for humans to use, rather than only tools that provide explicit API access. I hope you will enjoy learning about it! This course is taught by Anthropic's Head of Curriculum, Colt_Steele. You'll learn to apply image reasoning and tool use to "use" a computer as follows: a model processes an image of the screen, analyzes it to understand what's going on, and navigates the computer via mouse clicks and keystrokes. This course goes through the key building blocks, and culminates in a demo of an AI assistant that uses a web browser to search for a research paper, downloads the PDF, and finally summarizes the paper for you. In detail, you’ll: - Learn about Anthropic's family of models, when to use which one, and make API requests to Claude - Use multi-modal prompts that combine text and image content blocks, and also work with streaming responses - Improve your prompting by using prompt templates, using XML to structure prompts, and providing examples - Implement prompt caching to reduce cost and latency - Apply tool-use to build a chatbot that can call different tools to respond to queries - See all these building blocks come together in Computer Use demo Please sign up here:

v4.5 just dropped for Pro & Premier subscribers 🔥 A wider range of genres, richer vocals, & enhanced prompt understanding for songs that match your vision. What’s New: 🙌 Expanded genres & smarter mashups: More genre options — Blends like midwest emo + neosoul or EDM + folk come together seamlessly. 🎤 Enhanced voices: Vocals now hit harder — with more depth, emotion, and range. From intimate whispers to full-on power hooks, v4.5 delivers with feeling. 🔊 More complex, textured sound: v4.5 picks up the subtleties that make your music shine — layered instruments, tone shifts, and sonic details with depth. Prompts like “leaf textures” or “melodic whistling” now come through with clarity and dimension. 🧠 Better prompt adherence: Your words hit harder. Mood, vibe, instruments, and detail are captured with precision—so what you imagine is what you hear. ✍️ Prompt enhancement helper: Drop in a few tags or a rough idea, hit Enhance, and get a rich, fully-formed style prompt you can roll with or remix. 🎭 Upgraded Covers + Personas: Covers hold onto more melodic detail. Genre switching feels seamless. Personas better preserve the vibe and character of your track — and now… 🤝🏽 Covers + Personas can be combined: Remix voice, structure, and style all at once. It’s a whole new way to create. 📈 Extended song length: Previously 4 minutes, now create up to 8 minutes without using Extend. 🏆 Improved audio: Fuller, more balanced mixes with reduced shimmer and degradation — everything sounds better.

This custom GPT writes Sora 2 prompts that actually work 🤯 Most people prompting Sora 2 are getting garbage output. The problem isn't Sora 2. It's your prompts. Here's what I figured out after generating 100+ UGC videos: Sora 2 needs hyper-specific instructions—shot composition, timing, camera movement, lighting, scene details. Most people prompt like this: "Make a UGC video of someone using my skincare product" And then wonder why the output looks like AI slop. What actually gets results: "9:16 vertical handheld shot, soft natural window lighting, female creator mid-20s in bathroom mirror holding [brand] serum at eye level, genuine testimonial energy, 0-3s hook showing application and subtle reaction, shallow depth of field, clean warm color grade" That's the gap between unusable content and scroll-stopping UGC. So I built a custom GPT that writes these prompts for you: → Tell it your product (supplement, skincare, SaaS, whatever) → It generates a detailed timeline-based Sora 2 prompt → Shot composition, camera angles, timing breakdowns—all included → Optimized for 9:16 TikTok/Reels format → Copy and paste directly into Sora 2 No guessing. No prompt engineering rabbit holes. No "why does this look terrible" frustration. Professional UGC prompts in 10 seconds. Want free access to the Sora 2 Prompt Generator GPT? > Comment "SORA" > Like this post And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

This is next-level smart: An open-source platform that evaluates your prompts and automatically refines them based on the results. Of course, it feels obvious after you see it: • You write a prompt • The system evaluates it across different scenarios • Based on the results, it refines it to improve results I recorded a quick video to show you how it works. It's pretty cool stuff! Here are some of the problems and best practices for teams building AI applications: 1. Testing your prompts manually doesn't scale 2. Prompts should not be spread throughout the codebase 3. Non-technical people need easy access to your prompts 4. Prompts can always use a version history to track changes 5. Monitoring the performance of prompts overtime is critical Evaluating the prompts is what keeps me up at night from this list. Of all the conversations I've had with companies and people building AI applications, this is the area that's causing the most pain. Testing a prompt is difficult. Think about how you'd test the response of a model subjectively. What do you account for, "tone," "objectivity," "completeness," "creativity," "readability," etc.? Last week, I met the developers behind Latitude, an open-source prompt engineering platform trying to solve all of these issues. You can try the platform in two ways: • You can self-host the platform. Free and open-source. • If you want to try their online product, their free tier is huge. Here is the link: Thanks to the Latitude team for collaborating with me on this post, and congratulations on going live with their product!
