📺 MUST WATCH: "Before ActionSA started with these attacks on their coalition partners, there was no outstanding dispute in our coalition that needed to be resolved." Removing the current coalition in Tshwane will collapse service delivery progress and hand the city to the EFF.

The ANC/EFF/ActionSA coalition wants to reinstate the workers who set Tshwane on fire during the 2023 illegal strike. The DA fired them. We will continue to fight any attempt to bring them back. If the ANC/EFF/ActionSA coalition proceeds with this unlawful decision, the DA will reverse it when we are back in government in November. Register to vote and take back your city. #backbrink #takebackyourcity

100% in agreement with Business groups. A coalition between between the ANC and EFF or MK Party will be a catastrophe for our shaking economy and democracy. Zuma was campaigning about removing the current constitution so that he can abuse power once more. So the ANC of Ramaphosa must do the right thing to avoid doomsday coalition.

The DA led coalition planned to add 1000 MW to Tshwane’s grid by 2026, reducing our dependence on Eskom. The ANC coalition has stalled every step. Instead of progress, we get paralysis. The DA will get Tshwane generating, growing, and powering the city again.

News24 exposé: In the financial year that the ANC-EFF-ActionSA coalition took over Tshwane, spending on water tankers to formalised areas surged by 455% to R777 million. A jackpot for the water tanker mafia and money that could have been spent on pipe replacements, infrastructure upgrades, and providing Hammanskraal residents with clean water in their taps.

🚨📺 As we prepare for the Tshwane State of the City Address today, let us remember that Tshwane can be great again under the full leadership of the DA. Higher bills for worse services under the ANC-EFF-ActionSA coalition will cripple the city and ruin the foundation that we have laid for the city’s financial recovery. Give us the outright majority in the upcoming local elections. #VoteDA 🇿🇦

Testimony at the Madlanga Commission tends to implicate not just Tshwane’s CFO Gareth Mnisi, but two political parties in City of Tshwane’s governing coalition — ActionSA and the EFF — in attempts to rig a security tender. This constitutes fresh allegations of misconduct against Mnisi unrelated to the claims made by the ANC before. In fact, this security contract seems to be what the factional wrangling in the coalition over Mnisi’s position is about. I hope that Mnisi is be summoned to testify at the Commission. In the meantime, Tshwane city manager Johann Mettler must take whatever steps are within his power to investigate the matter.

Julius Malema must come forward and dispute this truth, which is a known secret in the EFF that the coalition agreement with the ANC in Gauteng is that all tenders above R1 million belong to Julius Malema.
