MUST WATCH Mark Carney: Two negative quarters = technical recession. RBC Chief Economist: That's not a recession. Mark Carney is WRONG. Plus we don't need to create anymore jobs. At this point, if the economy drove off a cliff, they'd call it a "temporary altitude adjustment."

It comes down to definitions. By the definition held by economists, it’s a recession. But by the definition of a Liberal economy it would be called normal.

Haha 🤣 that’s true

Loool First leader in history to add 88k jobs and lower the unemployment rate first week in a "recession"

either it is or it's not and by definition IT IS A RECESSION @MarkJCarney

here it is from Con mans own mouth! Let CBC know too! Just trying to help out with facts and like your PR campaign said" let us know if we got it wrong or we find out we got it wrong, we will correct it immediately and let you know" Just want our tax money used properly.

I swear, the word "economist" has become synonymous with half-wit in this country.

Wild.

Again, just stupid. I'll repeat for Marc... The C.D. Howe inst. is the final judge on whether or not it's a recession. They are not there yet. So Marc is not an expert, just a single opinion. Wrong!!!!! But still an opinion.

Reminds me of a snl comedy skit... or is it? 🤔

@RBC you need a new “technical” chief economist 🤣
