It's like listening to a tea leaf expound on the fiscal goals of the British East India Company. Iran was close to going nuclear while fueling 3 proxy wars. The goal is to collapse the regime, but 'Regime-Change' is a dirty word, so we say "denuclearization," and "Free straight of Hormuz" knowing the current regime won't tolerate either. I hope this helps dullards get up to speed with everyone else for the last 20 years. Israelis made the mistake of taking out too many of the leadership heads, and has left a IRGC body flopping around without anyone of sufficient power to even negotiate, and also made the job a quick stop before being killed. Did it need to be done? Yes. Did we need to do it alone? Given the current failed state of Europe, we didn't have a choice. It should have been done 20 years ago before Europe imploded. Civilian casualties have been limited, as have US forces casualties. Be thankful for that, and hope the chokehold on Hormuz works to hamstring the IRGC, Russia, and China simultaneously. You don't want to invade and occupy a wild expanse of mountain valleys with 90million people.
