Many don’t believe that my son did this. Yes he did and it didn’t happen by accident. So let me tell you about his journey. He’s always been fascinated by engineering. At about 1-2, he was obsessed with vacuum cleaners, washing machines and clocks. That obsession grew into Tesla (he hates gas cars — it smells bad he says), 3d printing and musical instruments at 4-5. At 6-7, he really got into Minecraft and he built a lot of intricate worlds by using blocks. Eventually, he got into Roblox, Roblox Studio and Scratch, which he learned about from school. The best thing I bought for him was a MacBook Air because he became more of a creator/engineer, went from using apps like ProCreate and Dreams to Roblox Studio, Scratch, Figma, Spline and Cursor. His arsenal of Pro tools expanded and he could do way more. I just recently intro him to Claude AI 2 weeks ago after showing him a video about an 8yo who built a Harry Potter web app (video below). So far, he made 100+ Scratch projects — some extremely intricate, dozens of games on Roblox Studio and 6 web apps. He spends about 2 hours a day on his projects. The other day, he told me with pride that he won 80 Robux (Roblox currency) bc 20 people played his games and he sells t-shirts trying to understand how to make more Robux. He has a YouTube channel, records and edits his own videos in CapCut and Screen Studio. I try not to get involved in his creation process so that he learns the whole thing by himself. I do put a priority on providing all the tools he needs as a starting point. It’s clear that he gets inspired by what I do and the tools that I use, combined with his own passion for games and engineering.

kids are going to have so much fun with these tools man nice work.

one day I'll tell them that we had to input code manually. they'll be like 🤷♂️

Amazing! I had a similar experience this week as I finally tried @cursor_ai and was able to create a mobile game in a few hours lol the next generation of developers won’t need to know any code.

@cursor_ai making games is my next paradigm shift. I've been dreaming of making games for decades. but with ai, I think that dream might be closer.

Would your son like an internship? He can save two decades and jump into business immediately it seems!! Haha what a kid! 👍👍

he told me his goal is to work for my company 😊 I still pay him in points haha

🤩🤩🤩

this is super impressive for a 8y old🤗

your son is a real proompter!!! I hope the continuous success for him!
