using your credit card to buy with your agent shouldn't be a problem. current solutions for agentic payments didn't work (and we tried them all). issuing one-time cards has a lot of limitations (no recurring subscriptions, no disputes), and tokenizing cards works for only 8% of the cards we've tried. the final solution is a Vault: store any card and share it safely with the browser completing the purchase

using a user's card in an agent browser shouldn't require you (or them) to be PCI compliant. that logic should be abstracted by companies like us. build your agent, and we will provide the payments infrastructure happy to share that Agentcard's Vault works natively on @usekernel and integrates smoothly with @thelinqapp

transactions get approved fast and easily with Face ID. we already do it when paying with Apple Pay. consumers get it, it's low friction and embedded in the iMessage experience if you want to make safe purchases with your agent, go to @endstack and @pallyai (a LOT more agents implementing as we speak)

@usekernel wrong flight is the whole category. the agent can pay. it shouldn’t be allowed to finish that charge. we already put a cap + an approval on the purchase before it clears. if you want that vault to fail closed on the next bad buy, i’ll hook it.

@usekernel That's the part nobody's really solved yet. Auth stacks were built around card-present humans, and agent transactions blur that line completely. If the flag doesn't survive to dispute time, the whole liability model gets messy.
