Fun fact: Patema Inverted (2014) was caught in a controversy bc ppl believed the director pulled the entire plot and theme from Upside Down (2012) despite the director saying that he refused to see the movie and knew nothing about it. It was all a coincidence.

Patema Inverted- One of my favourites. Great concept and execution.

The whole film reminds me of Plato's 'Allegory of the cave' The inverted think that the people who walk right side up are upside down, but they’re the ones who are actually walking on the ceiling.
