My AutoSprite 3.0 tool - getting started quick-video. I've been creating multiple backgrounds and scene environments detail, different fighters - I think the workflow is getting very refined at this point! #gamedev #aigamedev #indiegamedev [LINK in Comments]

AutoSprite 3.0 is a part of Sorceress Game Creation suite (my labor of love for the last 9 months)

animations looks like shit from a dogs ass, no punchiness at all, typical slopdevs devving slop

did you ever stop to think that maybe it's this ever-repeated comment that's the real slop?

Jiggly jiggly Can it do sprite styles? Say, Capcom style, or SNK style? Because that would be awesome

Yep, sure could - any style that AI models can generate (and that's basically anything)

A Mugen-style fighting game with rosters from practically everything would be bonkers X-Men VS Capcom VS SNK VS Guilty Gear Dear god what have you unleashed upon us????

I keep hearing about Mugen... I think I should look up and find out what that is at some point... ! :)

It's basically a fighting game emulator/engine, but you can download character packs made by other people, so you can play as Parappa The Rapper VS John Wick (but mostly anime and popular fighting game characters)

This is incredible.

thanks kindly!!

Looks great 😍

The animations look great

I would use it for a graphic adventure like monkey island

The results are impressive, but they have the issue of just kinda being "pixels" and not really needing to be. If you really want a retro look, you need limits. Right now these are super high rez with tons of frames and colors. Just looks like regular AI art. Needs more limits!

@ShamashAran First match looks like you.

bro, you are crazy, please don't make this project a scam...

Love the nostalgia feeling, great work

Thank you! Much appreciated!!

oh my god, like one year ago I NEEDED that so bad, because I just couldn't get any AI to do sprites correctly, this is an amazing thing you did, looks really good.

Thank you !! Love to hear it.

the hard part with generated sprites is set consistency, keeping palette, lighting angle and perspective identical across a whole scene so it reads as one game and not a collage. if 3.0 locks that down, that's the real feature. one-offs were never the problem.

This is absolutely amazing, the sprites look great and the animations are nice. Also, I think they will get better and more polished the more you develop the tool. Never mind the braindead luddites that can't understand AI. You're doing great and this will help a lot of devs.

Looks nice, got my follow.

Nice work! Thanks for sharing

Super cool stuff. Bravo!

Does the AutoSprite tool have any content restrictions?

Is this only side scrolling sprites or does it also create north and south facing sprites?

AutoSprite 3.0 sounds like a huge time-saver — building out multiple background variants and fighters that fast is impressive. Curious how much of the pipeline is still manual touch-up vs automated.

Considering it seem to be an early project, it's looking good. Of course it looksa bit rough, but if improved it could be what RPG Maker is to simple rpg games, but for fighting/arcade games.

This looks really cool! Needs a Skelly man with chains though. 😉

Orale esta chido , se puede usar entrando al enlace?

thanks!! It's a part of my Sorceress game creation suite at ->
