Can I share on our socials as we supporting kids during a parent’s cancer & in bereavement now. Some of these young people follow our pages and I think she’s said it perfectly. Recently lost my dad to cancer and I resonate as an adult

Please tell your daughter how poignant and true this is. I’m old & my mom has been gone 26 years. You never get over it. Time does fade the pain a bit but mostly, you live a life she’d be proud of.

I feel heart sorry for people who believe they won’t see them again as that pain is hard to take, but you will see them again, that’s the way you need to look at it, my mum died when I was young, I love the fact I know she looks after me & I’ll see her again, she’s got my back!
