My cats have always been obsessed with chasing squirrels. One got into the house today and this happened🤣

I've always thought that cats and squirrels are both in it as a game. I've never actually seen a cat catch one and I know they could.

Cats don’t like “prey “ that charge them. Long ago I was letting a ferret I had walk around in the grass when one of the apartment cats took an interest. It lost its nerve when the ferret ran towards it. The second time the ferret ran at it, the cat bolted!

Squirrels are fearless. This squirrel went about its business while a coppers hawk got a drink of water. Apparently they will fight the hawk in the ground like this and hawks knows it and leaves it alone
